On Bell Let’s Talk Day 2023, Empower Simcoe pledged to locally donate $1.00 for every public use of the hashtag #EmpowerSimcoeTalks on Empower Simcoe socials.

This year, Empower Simcoe was delighted to support Seasons Centre for Grieving Children and it’s vision of building resilience in children, strengthening families and empowering the community to grow from grief.

Thanks to your support, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Claudine Cousins (right) recently presented a $1000.00 donation to Lisa Spinks, Development Director at Seasons Centre for Grieving Children.

“With this support, two children who are grieving the death of their person(s), will be able to attend Seasons Centre’s peer to peer support groups for eight sessions each this year,” said Lisa Spinks. “Thank you for putting your hand in ours to give them comfort during one of the most difficult times they will face. Together with your support we are healing hearts with hope.”
