Honouring the 2025 Inclusion Excellence Awards Recipients

Empower Simcoe is proud to celebrate the outstanding recipients of the 2025 Empower Simcoe Inclusion Excellence Awards

Please join Empower Simcoe in congratulating the 2025 Empower Simcoe Inclusion Excellence Award recipients from the Simcoe County District School Board and the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board.

The Inclusion Excellence Awards were established by Empower Simcoe to recognize and honour students and educators across Simcoe County who demonstrate exceptional leadership in building inclusive school communities. These awards celebrate those who go above and beyond to promote equity, embrace diversity, and empower individuals of all abilities to thrive — especially students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Presented annually in partnership with the Simcoe County District School Board and the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, the Inclusion Excellence Awards highlight the powerful role that compassion, innovation, and advocacy play in shaping inclusive learning environments where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.

These outstanding educators and students have gone above and beyond in fostering inclusive school communities that celebrate diversity, promote understanding of disabilities, and empower everyone to thrive. Through compassion, innovation, and a commitment to inclusion, they are making a meaningful difference every day.
