Tenant Support & Resources

empowering your tenancy: resources and guidance for a stable home

Searching for housing can be a daunting task, and managing tenancy issues or conflicts can often feel overwhelming.

To support you, we’ve provided a variety of resources on the bottom of this page.

These resources offer guidance on searching for housing, steps to take once you secure housing, and key rights and responsibilities for both tenants and landlords.

Additionally, we offer access to a wide range of regional housing support services designed to assist in various aspects of your tenancies. Among these services, we provide help with applying for funding through various programs, such as:

  • Ontario Electricity Support Program
  • Housing Retention Fund
  • Low-Income Energy Assistance Program

For more detailed information or to schedule an appointment at one of our Housing Resource Centre locations, please contact us at 705-739-0485 or toll-free at 1-833-726-9082.
