17 Feb Saying Thank You: Empower Simcoe Visits Barrie Fire Fighters Association

Supports and Services Director Luke Lynn, Supports and Services Manager Michele Kapteyn, Program Associate Joan Crozier, and CEO Dr. Claudine Cousins visited Barrie and Fire Emergency Services to extend Empower Simcoe’s heartfelt gratitude for the generous support of our Christmas Gift Hamper campaign.

This past Christmas, the Barrie Fire Fighters Association donated thousands of dollars in gift cards, along with smoke detectors for families in need who are supported by Empower Simcoe.

The Barrie Fire Fighters Association is also instrumental in its support of Empower Simcoe’s Celebrating Community Champions Fashion Show, which is an evening of fashion, food and fun celebrating personal achievement and community service.
