Celebrating Earth Day
Celebrating Earth Day!
Earth Day is celebrated every April 22nd in almost every country in the world! It is a special day to learn about our wonderful planet! It’s the one day we stop and say “Thank you earth for giving us clean water, fresh air, food and shelter. We promise to take care of you!”
Simple Ways to Explain Earth Day
The main reason for Earth Day is to remind us that we need to take care of our planet. Children who grow up respecting and caring for the natural world are more likely to continue as adults. Even small actions can have a big impact, like turning off the lights and faucets, recycling our garbage, using reusable water bottles and donating clothes. By doing these things we can show our children how to become earth heros!
