Calling All Unpaid Caregivers in Simcoe County
Applications Now Open: 2026 Respitality Program

Empower Simcoe is now accepting applications for the 2026 Respitality Program.
Unpaid caregivers across Simcoe County can apply between November 7 and December 15, 2025.

Respitality provides caregivers with a much-needed break through donated overnight stays, unique experiences, and local getaways — a chance to rest, recharge, and focus on themselves.

What is Respitality?
Respite + Hospitality = Respitality

Empower Simcoe and our business and community partners recognize the significant contributions unpaid caregivers make in providing exceptional care for their loved ones, as well as the added responsibilities that come with this role.

Respitality offers selected unpaid caregivers a well-deserved break, provided free of charge through the generous donations of businesses in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry, as well as through grants and personal donations from members of the community.

The program offers flexible options for unpaid caregivers to create a meaningful break tailored to their needs.
