Winter Solstice
On December 21, 2025 at 10:03 am, Winter Solstice will arrive in our area. What is winter solstice? It is the day with the shortest amount of daylight and the longest amount of darkness, in the Northern Hemisphere. It signals the start of the astronomical winter season (the date of solstice).
Why is Winter Solstice important? It is a special moment for many nations, a time when nature slows down and reminds us of our deep connection to it. It is a moment to pause – to rest, reflect and reconnect with the cyclical patterns of nature.
