Hooray for Outdoor Play Raffle
The Empower Simcoe Foundation is raising funds to support the Hooray for Outdoor Play capital campaign. Our goal is to build a new, accessible playground at the EarlyON Child and Family Centre at 129 Ferris Lane, Barrie. While at its core, this playground will be a recreational space, it will also serve as an outdoor learning space for the expansion of EarlyON and Ontario Autism Entry to School programming.
Outdoor play is not just about fun; it also plays a crucial role in the holistic development of children. The EarlyON Centres support families and caregivers with children 0 to 6 years old, providing a wide range of essential services that empower parents and caregivers in their nurturing roles. The Ontario Autism Entry to School Program, supporting children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. These programs provide a secure environment where children can engage in a diverse array of enriching activities and hone new skills.
Purchasing tickets for our fundraiser will not only help build this amazing space but give you a chance to win one of three fantastic baskets filled with items to encourage social emotional wellness and engagement for you and your child. Included in each basket valued at over $200 is a time timer, a gift certificate for a visit to our children’s Snoezelen rooms, books with props, toys and activities.
Check out our baskets in person by visiting one of our three sites: 129 Ferris Lane, Barrie, 118 Barrie St., Bradford or 4171 Innisfil Beach Road, Thornton. Tickets are only $5 each, or 3 tickets for $10 and are available online. Winners will be notified and invited to pick up their prize in person.
