Youth In Action is a summer program that provides young people with the opportunity to expand their communication, social, leisure, work and life skills while participating in community projects. YIA is broken into one and two week sessions that each has a unique focus. Each week includes one great day trip, cool activities and practical learning experiences. Youth in Action also offers two overnight camping trips.
These amazing summer sessions are designed to provide youth aged 14-21 years with the opportunity to expand their social, recreational and independent living skills while learning about who they are! Examples of these skills include how to effectively take city transit, preparing and cooking a meal, nutrition and money management!
This year we are excited to announce that each of our Toronto day trips will be extended and youth’s pick-up time will be later. Further details will be given upon registration and confirmation!
* our trip to Blue Mountain will also be extended *
